Letter to Clients: Moving To Telehealth

Change of Plans: We’re moving to telehealth

We are changing our stance regarding our decision to stay open based on the evolving public health information regarding COVID-19. Effective Monday, all sessions will be held via telehealth until further notice. We will be reevaluating constantly in an effort to get back into the office as soon as responsibly possible.

How to Access Telehealth for Therapy Sessions

1- Log into your client portal, click your appointments tab, find your appointment and click start session.

2- If you are not able to access your session via client portal, your therapist can provide you with a specific URL to access your session. Please ask for this in advance should you need it.
For couples or family therapy sessions, please make every effort to join from the same computer. If you require distinct log-ins for each member of your family, please advise your therapist ASAP so they can get you set up prior to your appointment time.

Insurance Coverage for Telehealth

Most health insurance companies have relaxed their stance on telehealth coverage during the pandemic, but as usual MCCC does not take responsibility for your reimbursement.

Our Telehealth Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy reported in our previous email remains in effect: if you are ill and unable to attend session via telehealth we will relax our 24-hour policy. No-shows will be charged at the full rate.
Should you wish to renegotiate your scheduled time, please coordinate with you therapist directly.
